played in the Netherlands from 10 June through 2 July 2005, with the best under-20
teams in the world competing for glory. Four-time champions Argentina faced tough
competition, but successfully defended their title for a record fifth win.

2003 was contested 13 to 30 August 2003. The 16-team tournament consisted of 32
matches, with Brazil triumphing over Spain in the final in Helsinki to become
World Champions for the third time.

the 4th FIFA Women's World Cup was relocated to the USA due to the SARS scare.
Played 20 September to 12 October 2003, the championship was won in extra time
