FUJIFILM ADDS TWO NEW MODELS AND NEW SOFTWARE TO ITS ACCLAIMED FAMILY OF ALADDIN PICTURE CENTERS
Provides Retailers With Maximum Flexibility, Connectivity And Profit-Making Opportunities

PMA 2000, Las Vegas, NV, February 3, 2000 -- Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc. is proud to announce the addition of two new models together with new software to its acclaimed Aladdin family - the Fujifilm Aladdin Slimline Picture Center and the Fujifilm Aladdin Countertop Picture Center. Already embraced by retailers for its breadth of services, customizable features and profit-making opportunities, the Fujifilm Aladdin Picture Centers are integral components of Fujifilm's Total Imaging Solution, a fully integrated, seamless system of connectivity designed to offer both retailers and consumers new levels of imaging options, convenience and flexibility. And now, with three models from which to choose - each incorporating Fujifilm's newest user-friendly software -- there's a Fujifilm Aladdin to fit virtually any retail application and space requirement.

The Family of Fujifilm Aladdin Picture Centers
Ideal for retailers wanting the convenience of all imaging functions performed via one unit, the Fujifilm Aladdin Picture Center with built-in Fujifilm Pictrography 3000 offers full functionality and optional output to the Fujifilm Digital Minilab Frontier 350 or 370. For those wanting to maximize use of floor space and merchandizing options, the new Fujifilm Aladdin Slimline Picture Center and Fujifilm Aladdin Countertop Picture Center are both stylishly compact and connect to Fujifilm's high-performance, high-speed Digital Minilab Frontier or optionally, to the Fujifilm PG3000 to produce extraordinarily sharp, rich, color accurate photographic prints.

"With the addition of two new space-saving models to our family of Aladdin Picture Centers together with the introduction of new software, Fujifilm is presenting retailers with new opportunities and capabilities for building business and profitability," said Joe Welch, Director, Digital Imaging Systems, Commercial Markets Division, Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc. "Now, even retailers with the most stringent space requirements can take advantage of the Aladdins' flexibility, connectivity and variety of input/output options to expand product and service offerings and thereby, increase revenues."

Fujifilm Aladdin Picture Centers Offer A Full Menu of Imaging Services
With new configurations, software and services, Fujifilm Aladdin Picture Centers offer more imaging flexibility and profit-potential than ever before. For instance, when linked with a Fujifilm Frontier, the new Aladdins even allow customers to order reprints and enlargements from previously scanned negative rolls. At the time of the original processing, customers simply request the "Filmless Reorder Service," re-visit the store at some future time and via the Fujifilm Aladdin Picture Center, access their negatives, view their images on the screen and place their order.

Of course, by utilizing Fujifilm's latest technologies, the Fujifilm Aladdin Picture Centers still accept a wide variety of input options from silver halide film to digital camera media, CD-ROMs, PC cards, floppy disks, Zip( disks and Internet downloads to offer a host of imaging applications including basic print scans; rotate, zoom or crop an image; and, develop enlargements. For customers wanting to personalize their images and prints, Fujifilm Aladdin Picture Centers additionally feature templates for producing customized calendars, borders, novelty and occasion prints (trading cards and special greetings) and even prompt users as to whether they want to order frames or multiple prints to increase sales.

For added flexibility, Fujifilm Aladdin Picture Centers, in conjunction with the Frontier system and new Fujifilm Imaging Controller, allow customers to transfer images to Fujicolor CDs for long-term storage and safe, accessible, organized archiving of family photo memories. In addition, when linked to the Frontier with Imaging Controller, Aladdin offers extraordinary connectivity with Fujifilm.Net as consumers' images can be uploaded to or downloaded from the site and easily shared online with family and friends who can then order their own reprints, enlargements, photo gifts and specialty items.

New Aladdin Software Meets Retailer and Consumer Needs for Customized Services and Ease of Use
Fujifilm's Aladdin 2000 software offers retailers more ways than ever to provide new imaging solutions to their customers. Allowing unmatched versatility for both retailer and consumer, the new software provides a fresh new look on the touch screen that promotes easier-then-ever navigation via large, well-defined icons as well as optional voice prompts that guide users through the entire process. Completely versed in all the latest digital camera file formats, these new visually driven screens search and display the contents of most digital camera media allowing users the ability to not only create multiple image layouts but also, to edit each image individually.

For print-to-print services, the new software offers users the ability to reformat layouts or add borders to images without rescanning, remove red eye with simultaneous correction of up to two eyes and save and recall printed jobs with greater ease than ever before. And, retailers will particularly appreciate Fujifilm's Aladdin Design Exchange, a new marketing program that allows them to keep borders and calendar content fresh and appropriate for the season.

"Now with three state-of-the-art Fujifilm Aladdin Picture Centers from which to choose, retailers will enjoy increased options, capabilities and connectivity," continued Welch. "They can select and customize the Aladdin system that perfectly meets their space and merchandizing needs and in doing so, meet customers' needs more effectively, conveniently and most important, profitably."

The Fujifilm Aladdin Picture Center is available now. The new Fujifilm Aladdin Slimline Picture Center and Fujifilm Aladdin Countertop Picture Center will be available spring, 2000.
