The camera combines ease-of-use with a compact design, making the Nexia 320ix Z camera perfect for any picture-taking situation. And the camera's wide selection of convenient features means that taking great pictures is simple, convenient and fun.
Zoom In On Fun Photos
With the new Nexia 320ix Z camera, taking quality photos is truly automatic. For example, the Nexia 320ix Z model is equipped with a 3x zoom Fujinon Lens that ranges from 23mm to 69mm (equivalent to 29mm to 86mm in the 35mm film format) while infrared autofocus keeps all subjects razor sharp. In addition to a fully automatic pop-up zoom flash, the Fujifilm Nexia 320ix Z camera has a choice of Fill-in Flash, Red-eye Reduction, and Flash Off modes. For a creative touch, the Landscape Mode sets the focus to infinity to capture beautiful, sharp scenic shots, even when shooting through a window.
Switch Film, Not Cameras with Mid-Roll Change
Mid-Roll Change (MRC) takes advantage of the 24mm Advanced Photo System cartridge to allow users to change the film anytime, anywhere. It enables users to personalize each roll of film, keeping individual rolls for each subject theme, film speed or so every person in the family can have his or her own personal film cartridge. Using the MRC function is so easy. The film simply rewinds at the touch of a button, and when reloading a part-used cartridge, the film automatically advances to the next unexposed frame.
And to capture every day in brilliant color, users can select any of the Fujicolor Nexia color negative films for the 24mm Advanced Photo System in ISO 100, 200 and 400 speeds. Nexia films all feature Fujifilm's Fourth Color Layer Technology, which includes a fourth color-sensitive emulsion layer that essentially enables photographic film to "see" color in nearly the same way as the human eye. The result is exceptional color performance, even under mixed lighting.
Along with Mid-Roll Change (MRC), the Nexia 320ix Z camera features a one-touch Drop-In Film Loading system, auto film advance and rewind, auto exposure, and a film compartment door with Safety Lock to prevent accidental opening of the camera without rewinding the film. The camera's Self-Timer lets even the photographer get in the shot, and an easy-to-read LCD panel gives you full details on important shooting information such as remaining exposures, date/time settings, flash settings and other modes.
Benefits of the 24mm Advanced Photo System
The Fujifilm Nexia 320ix Z camera takes full advantage of 24mm Advanced Photo System technologies. Three Print Formats - C (Classic - 4 x 6" ), H (HDTV -- 4 x 7" ) or P (Panorama - 4 x 10" ) and convenient Index Prints of every shot on the cartridge are a unique and convenient way for organizing photographs while making reordering photos a snap. Users can also select the date/time information to print on their photo.
The Advanced Photo System technology also offers consumers the benefit of Print Quality Improvement (PQI), where photographic data is recorded on the film's magnetic layer when the picture is taken. This ensures more consistent, high quality results in every picture.
The Fujifilm Nexia 320ix Z camera will be available Spring 2000 and has a suggested retail price of $259.95.
