Stable, vibration-resistant image writing

The Labelflash™ process employs a newly developed system to control the laser, pick-up drive, and rotation speed and uses high-speed signal processing to process image data. Due to the special construction of the Labelflash discs, the images are burned by a optimally focused laser beam, same as when recording data. The stable, vibration-resistant image-writing process is completed in minimum five minutes.

Burned images are long-lasting and scratch-resistant.

The discs are structured by a polycarbonate surface layer that protects the image layer, which is at a depth of 0.6 millimeters from the surface. Labels are highly durable and scratch-resistant because the actual image is not touched directly when the disc is handled.
